“Eid Mubarak”

Muslims all over the world fast for the entire month of  Ramadan which is the ninth month of the Islamic calendar .Tonight is the end of the “Eidul -Al-fitr” celebration.This is a joyous occasion when muslims give “Zakat -Alfitr” which is compulsory charity which is given at the end of the fasting month “Ramadan”.

The wisdom behind this charity is to let the poor also share the joy of the day by having the chance to eat good food and drinks .also not break poor people hearts when they see other people eating and drinking while they didn’t find any thing to eat during this happy occasion .also to let all types of muslims feel happy in this day.

 

The day of “Eid -Alfitr” is started by the performance of “Eid”prayer and the deliverance of sermon .also you find all muslims who attending this prayer wearing new clothes and using nice perfumes .I always feel happy when I attend this occasion . This beautiful scene is one of reasons which makes me happy in this day.After this prayer service,muslims exchange greetings,compliments and visits between relatives and friends.

It is common to witness the distribution of food and drinks generously among muslims during visits .This is a day of demonstration of gratitude to God (Allah) for having guided them during the month of fasting by performing prayers and other righteous deeds.Therefore,it is a moment of celebrating righteousness and victory over satan.

But when you reflecting on this day, we think of those unfortunate muslims whom because of war,famine,draught and other natural disaster are denied the opportunity to taste the enjoyment of this day of celbration.Most particulary the people of Somalia.. Actually,their  miserable situation  is known all the world. So I hope all muslims around the world to help this poor muslim nation .

Six Skills to be a great student

Nowadays, students deal with technology almost in everything. Because of that they are different .Their needs, wishes and thoughts are different from old students.
This new generation has many technology facilities, because of that their way
of thinking we should as teachers to understand it .if we can
understand How our students think?.So we can help them to make many great things in their life.

But even with this technology age .Our students should have these six skills at least to overcome life challenges. Let’s take these skills one by one.

Able to read, Students should have the ability to read and understand what they read .They should know how to choose
what fit their ability to understand while they are choosing their books. Also, they should know how to read silently .Books will not lose its value even with this technology age. Students should understand that they cannot improve their understanding
without reading. In Islam reading is very important.

“Read!” the voice resonated in the cave of Mount Hira’ for the third time. The man called Muhammad froze, mostly in fear and confusion in the arms of Arch Angel Gabriel. When he found his voice, he told the angel he did not know how to read.

“Read, in the name of thy Lord who created, man from a clot. Read, for your Lord is most Generous, who teaches by means of the pen, teaches man what they know not,” (al-’Alaq: 1-5)

The man soon to be known as Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) received the
first revelation of the holy Qur’an – Islam’s Holy Scripture that remain suntainted and unchanged until this very day. The underlying message of the Qur’an remains too – “read.”
Able to write, Students should know first, how to spell words .Then how to describe these words .After that how to make good sentence .Later, to know How to make simple sentence. Then knowing how to build complicated sentences.Finally, knowing how to make a good paragraph .These will make them able to be a good example of skilful students.

Able to type, the world is changing. Technology becomes an essential part in our life, and computers take a place and time in everyone’s life. That means that learning to use them becomes important to each student. Because of that students should learn
how to type and deal with computer devices.

Able to “listen”not just “hearing” teachers’ words .There is a big difference between hearing and listening. Hearing is simply the act of perceiving sound by the ear. If you are not hearing-impaired, hearing simply happens. Listening, however, is something you consciously choose to do.Listening requires concentration so that your brain processes meaning from words and sentences. Listening leads to learning. Because of that we need students who are listening not just hearing us.

Able to think critically, students should know how to think critically. It means not simply accepting information at face value in a non-critical or non-evaluating way. Also if he makes any mistakes in his learning, he should learn from his errors .and avoid them in the future and not accepting it in the future.

Able to communicate with others effectively, students always needs help from teachers and his classmates. Because of
that, he should make a good relationship with them .So that he can get benefit of them.
